The foundation of our seed business was laid in the 1940s by Mr. Chandrika Prasad, driven by a vision to make high-quality seeds accessible to farmers. This vision evolved into a modern enterprise in 1980 when his son, Mr. Arun Chandra, formally joined the business.

Through his dedication and expertise, he successfully developed one of the most renowned varieties of Long Melon (Kakri) — Tar Super Chandra Prabha. With decades of experience, his guidance has led to the establishment of Chandra Arun Crop Science, built on innovation and scientific advancement.
